Well, seems like the debt clock can't keep up with the recent times.
The National Debt Clock in Times Square in New York has run out of digits to record the growing figure. As a temporary fix, the dollar sign has been switched to a figure--the "1" in $10 trillion. The clock is marking the current national debt at about $10.2 trillion. Think of that. The clock’s owners say a new model — with space for two extra digits — will be in place early next year. Now the debt clock will be able to reach the quadrillions. Hopefully, that’s not a level that will be breached any time soon.
